With You as my Audience of One,
my Joy, my King,
I take all the originality of my heart
and place who I am on display--
though others are watching,
I perform only for You.
Though others may be wondering,
I live only for You.

My Love told me, "You have big eyes
and a little voice."
I wonder what
the rest of the world think
and what secrets are yet revealed
through small eyes
and a big Voice.

For my Audience of One
I dance, I sing--
My life is the stage
of action, adventure, peace.
Though others are invited,
I'm exclusively admired.
In the depths of my soul
I admire my One.

As many Christians come together to celebrate Good Friday this year, many Jews are also coming together to celebrate Passover. Are they one in the same? Finding Lost Things

A few months ago I felt compelled by the Ruach (Spirit) of God to watch the original Tinker Bell movie (via Netflix). Lying in a borrowed bed and sipping night coffee, I watched the story of the little fairy, born of a baby's first laugh, who finds herself in a circle of enchantment: the beginning of her journey towards self discovery and thriving in her true identity. She is to be given her name and her talent, and Queen Mary answers her doubts that she'll be sure to know her talent because it will choose her. When the "tinker" talent radiates a glowing knowing of the life-work Tinker Bell has ahead of her, she still has many doubts. As I watched the little fairy try to do  her fairy friends' talents and fail, I saw her disappointment and discouragement grow as she attempted to live out others' callings and push her own aside. Happy New Year!

As 2017 ends and 2018 begins, I spend some time in reflection, as has been my pattern to do, in order to envision what might be coming for me in 2018. It's only the third day of the new year, and I'm already overwhelmed at the goodness and grace I've encountered, with ever more expectation and hope and excitement to come! 2017 was a BIG year of breakthrough for me, and one of my main learning points from the year was that intentionality produces fruitfulness. I purposed 2017 as my Year of Soul Care, and each month, focused on a theme or intention. I worked hard pursuing holistic health and wellness, and today I declare that I am more alive, thriving and flourishing in holistic health than ever before.
